About This Item
London: Cassell and Company, Ltd, 1925. Hard Cover. Used; Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Front cover has puncture and crease; foxing and soiling especially to endpapers. Tan cloth boards with black illustration on cover and black titles on spine. Curwood was a prolific writer in the early twentieth century specialising in books about nature and conservation especially in Michigan and farther north in Canada. Many of his books were made into films. "The Courage of Marge O'Doone" became "The Girl Beyond the Trail" for a 1917 film, and this British edition of the book was published under that name.
