The author, at 25 had been married, divorced and a successful career woman. She then decided to resign from her job, grab her young son under her arm and flee to the Far East. This book is the story of their two-year trip, ending up as a passenger (by nagging, pleading and cajoling) on a small schooner for young men were travelling around the world in.
