London: Frederick Warne and Co., 1868. Cloth Bound Boards. Good. 1868. Size 12mo, 7.5" tall, 291 pages. Dark green cloth covered boards with gilt vignette and blind borders to the front cover, blind borders to rear cover and gilt titles to the spine, blue end-papers. Condition good, corners and spine ends rubbed, head of spine frayed and slightly chipped, spine a little dulled, spots to page edges and on pages from end-papers to preface and also last few pages which are publisher's advertisements. Previous owner's small blindstamp to front endpaper and title page. Contents a little loose and shaken. With numerous in-text illustrations from engravings, decorative initial capitals at starrt of each chapter. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
