Christchurch: Glimpses of New Zealand Publishing Co. Ltd, 1896 cloth boards with gilt to upper board, rubbed fore edges and corners, Cracked inner front hinge. Contents tight. Inscription on title in copperplate style but ball pen, we have edited out the former owner details in the picture for privacy, First Edition gilt embossed cover, 192 black and white plates + 22pp of descriptive text, 250mm x 310mm published in Christchurch for the Glimpses of New Zealand Publishing Co. Ltd 1896, a few pages have short edge tears to the margins, some mild foxing to the end papers, many historic photographs of the whole country, as well as portraits of traditional maori clothing, wahine, carvings etc, includes many prominent civic buildings from various civic centres (2kg rate). First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Landscape Folio.
