Gaithersburg, Maryland: Folcroft Library Editions. Good with no dust jacket. 1974. Hardcover. 0841439893 . viii + 116 pp. A reprint of the 1861 edition. Black buckram binding with gilt to spine has some light white smudges at top edge, text fore-edge has some small stains which did not migrate , first blank has old erasures and a stroke of faint red pencil, text itself is clean and nice. Includes a facsimile of the original Anglo-Saxon manuscript pages of both Swithun and St. Maria, then the Anglo-Saxon text with a facing literal English translation, a lengthy essay on the life and times of Swithun with a shorter essay on Maria. The "illustrative pieces" on Swithun are primarily in Latin, with English notes, although a few are in English or Anglo-Saxon.; Folio - over 12" - 15" tall .
