About This Item
Reviews
Go The F**k To Sleep is a picture book for adults by American author and parent, Adam Mansbach. It is beautifully illustrated by Ricardo Cortes in the style of a children’s picture book, but its appeal for adults lies in the sentiments so succinctly expressed. Which parent has not experienced the child who just will not go to sleep? Most parents will easily relate to the text, and in their frustrated and sleep-deprived state may well have muttered these exact sentences under their breath. As is obvious from the cover, profanities appear on every page, so readers are adequately warned. This popular book has generated many You Tube clips, and while Noni Hazelhurst does a wonderfully expressive rendering of the verse, the grandmother reading to granddaughter Carrington is particularly entertaining. Absolutely hilarious.
