Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.

Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages are lightly tanned with water staining and a few small nicks along text block edge. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout. Boards have light shelf-wear with minor corner bumping and mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a subtle forward lean. Unclipped jacket has heavy surface wear, with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing to spine, edges and corners. Lightly tanned and moderately foxed, with water staining to spine.
