Random House, 1949. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+/New. STATED FIRST Printing on copyright page. Original blue cloth with publishers tinted top page edges. Spine cloth is mildly faded with gently bumped crown and foot of cloth. Blank end-papers show mild age-toning, but interior pages are clean and bright. A fabulous FACSIMILE Dust Jacket is MINT and completes this wonderful volume. Jacket protected in mylar. Author best known for "It Can't Happen Here" and "Elmer Gantry" and many other titles. Author won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1930. A very good looking copy.
