Ex-lib with white spine numbers at bottom spine, interior has normal library marks, pocket. Bottom front board bumped at corner, some rubbing at edges, back board is slightly bowed in, blanks a little grubby and title page has some thumbing, but otherwise clean and attractive. A beautiful book. Indispensable reference for art historians, scholars of Eastern philosophy and religion. Wealth of detailed scholarly information on names, attributes, symbolism, pictorial representations of virtually every major and minor divinity in Mahayana pantheon, as worshipped in Nepal, Tibet, China, Korea, Mongolia, and Japan.; Ex-Library; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
