About This Item

Fremont, CA: Ruddy Duck Press, 1984. First Edition. Volume of poetry published as Oro Madre No.10, a publication suppressed by Bukowski, who objected to the formatting and amateurish reproduction. The colophon states that the first 25 copies were signed and numbered, but these were never published. While an unknown number of copies made their way into the book trade, according to John Martin, 90% of the run was destroyed. Krumhansl 92. One of 500 copies. Slim octavo (21.5cm); black and green illustrated wrappers, stapled; [viii],10,[6]pp; illus. A Fine copy.
