Grosset & Dunlap, 1908. Reprint Ediiton. Hardcover. Good/Good. An attractive reprint edition scarce in jacket of this adventure tale first published by Bobbs-Merrill. In red cloth with back type to front cover and spine. Corners a little soft with spot of rubbing through cloth at bottom front. Yellow tinted top page ends. Previous owner's name and date '1-4-33' to ffep, otherwise clean with solid binding. Frontispiece. Scarce jacket is stuck to front and rear pastedowns by large period 'Veedol Lubrication' stickers - two to each flap. Chips and short tears to a few corners, spine ends and bottom of rear panel with a longer tear to bottom of rear spine crease. A few other stray nicks to edges and light tanning overall. A plate with vellum overlay from another book laid in for bookmarker.

If the book is not received as described, a return in like condition may be made within 14 days for a full refund. For CA residents: Sales tax will be processed as an additional charge. Please note that shipping rates are for an average sized book, supplemental shipping may apply if the book is heavy and/or oversize, or if there are multiple books in a shipment. Gift wrapping available upon request.
