About This Item

Edward Stanford, London / J W C Mackay, Port Elizabeth, Cape C, 1877. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 240 pages plus folded facsimile letter and folded map (at the rear in a pocket) (complete). An aged, resolute copy. The boards are much worn all about. They are scuffed, marked, stained. Stamped black decoration, gilt illustration on the front board. The spine has much wear from head to foot. It has been carefully repaired. Gilt titling. The boards are sturdy, sound, sure. Some early pages are facsimiles. The contents are otherwise aged. The pages are a little discoloured from storage and the years, there are smudges, spots, flecks of foxing throughout. Even yet, the pages are benign, placid, tight, clear, convivial, competent, assured, still most suitable for resource. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
