FRONTIS HAS LAWRENCE WITH RED SETTER, FOREWORD BY LAWRENCE'S MOTHER. THE TEXT COVERS THE WAR-TIME PERIOD, WHEN LAWRENCE, THEN AIRCRAFTSMAN SHAW, SPENT IN PLYMOUTH WORKING AS A RAF CLERK AND PERFECTING HIS DESIGN OF SPEED BOATS, LATER TO BECOME AIR-SEA RESCUE LAUNCHES.
