Octavo; publisher's cloth in yellow decorative dust jacket retaining original price ($3.00); [8],241pp. Jacket heavily restored with verso fully backed with wallpaper-like card stock and color touch-ups along extremities, spine panel toned and darkened with a few waterspots and text rather faded, corners gently tapped, boards bumped at spine ends, toning to endpapers, else a Very Good copy, albeit in overly sophisticated jacket.

Satirical exposé of India under colonial rule, written in response to reading Katherine Mayo's nativist diatribe Mother India (1927). Published a year prior in the UK as How About Europe?
