About This Item

London: John Murray, 1929. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. A collection of short stories relating the experiences and adventures of the Geste brothers and their comrades in the French Foreign Legion while soldiering in North Africa. Issued as part of Murray's Imperial Library. Octavo. Original gray cloth binding, with black titles. A bit of foxing to the extremities, more so the top edge. A very good copy in a remarkably fresh and bright dust jacket with just a hint of edgewear.
