The story of a Jewish professor of literature who is appointed Secretary of State, by the author of Catch 22. 447 pp. Black cloth covered boards have horizontal gilt text on spine, author's monogram blindstamped on bottom corner of front panel. Book has very slight shelf wear on rear panel, ow it is as new. DJ is price clipped and top corners are bumped. Unclipped ( ($12.95) DJ has light edge/shelf wear. Rear panel has full panel B/W photograph of Heller. Bookseller's Inventory # 144023.
