New York: Good Housekeeping Pattern Service, n.d.. Ephemera. Folded pattern(s) printed on flimsy tinted tissue and enclosed in a small (8.5x5.5 inch) manila envelope lettered recto. Pattern is accompanied by a standard leaf folded in two (making a four-panel brochure) printed for the "Layette"; second panel for a Dress, third for a Wrapper, fourth a blank. Envelope has sustained a very long tear through the text (remains legible), and the envelope flap (no adhesive) is partly split along foldline. The sole instance of damage is to the manila envelope. We were fearful of compromising said pattern by investigating it for damage, it appears to be pristine, we've left it alone.
