Spotting/foxing to the top and front edges of the text block, slight offset tanning of the end pages, previous scratch that original bookseller's rubberstamp at the bottom right-hand corner of the front end page, rubbing to the top and bottom of the spine section of the dust jacket with some loss, and short tears to the top and bottom of the front panel of the price clipped dust jacket. Col North's mission in this exciting new case is first to determine the authenticity of documents found in a courier case shackled to the wrist of a victim of a plane accident, and then to decipher them.
