Also includes three memoirs by James Fenimore Cooper: "Richard Somers," "William Bainbridge," and "Richard Dale." Also pieces by Noah Webster, Horace Greeley, Epes Sargent, James Russell Lowell, Richard H. Dana, William Cullen Bryant, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and Rufus W. Griswold among others. With 16 steel engravings. two hand-colored. And five pieces of music. Light scattered foxing, some shelfwear, else a very good copy.
