Philadelphia: Henry Altemus Company, 1911. Hardcover. Small 8vo. Tan cloth with green spine lettering and large front board color pictorial plate, pictorial dust jacket with matching front panel batter-and-catcher graphic. 251pp, (16pp ads). Frontispiece, 3 full-page line drawings. Very good/very good. Faint binding edgewear only; small nonauthorial gift inscription on front flyleaf; jacket quite nice, having only single hip at head of spine. Tight and handsome later printing of the second title in the 4-volume "Grammar School Boys Series." All four volumes were published in 1911 and ad at rear and on rear jacket panel and jacket verso all list all four titles, making precise dating difficult.
