About This Item
Boston and New York: E. P. Peabody Wiley & Putnam, 1841. First edition. 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fine/No Jacket. A near fine copy with front label gilt bright (often found all or mostly faded, it is only slightly so here). In fine morocco slipcase. Child signature to front pastedown, with spot of bleed through to endpaper, foxing heavier at endpapers, light throughout, but overall remarkable copy with unworn cover and sharp corners, unusual for a children's book. In variant binding, not noted in Clark, slightly taller than the common size for all three titles in this series. Clark A61.
