About This Item
New York: Whitney Museum of American Art. The catalog issued in conjunction with the major exhibition of Grant Woods' art at the Whitney in 2018. First edition, first printing. About 9 1/2 x 12 3/4 inches, 271 pages bound in green cloth-covered boards with gold lettering on front cover and spine. The dustjacket's front panel and back panel features "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" (1931). Boards and text are clean, complete and unmarked. No underlining or highlighting. No significant flaws or damage. Binding is tight. Dustjacket shows very slight bit of wear at edges, corners and spine ends. No creases, tears or bumping. Not price-clipped. Collectable. A very interesting look at a regional artist who was not at all regional in spite of "American Gothic". [Given this book's size and weight, we cannot accept priority/express orders or orders from outside the U.S., and order may require additional postage.] . Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 2017.
