New York: Carrick & Evans, 1940. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Blue cloth with gilt decoration to front board. Brick topstain. Black and white plates. Some staining to head and fore edges of pages; previous owner's name to the upper ourside corner of front pastedown. Dustjacket is clipped, with some wear to outer corners and head and heel of spine panel. Short closed tear to upper rear panel, a little scuffing and dustsoil.
