About This Item
New York: Bonanza Books. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. 1984. Hardcover. 0517459930 . Twelve of the most important and successful aircraft of World War II are featured in this book. Each chapter has authoritative text by an aviation expert accompanied by b&w photos and extraordinary color illustrations by Rikyu Watanabe, including cut-away illustrations, cockpit illustrations, exterior illustrations, and one large foldout illustration, also in color. Oiginally published in twelve separate books (with a total new price of nearly $200), this compilation brings all of the volumes into a single, useful book. Original publisher's white cloth covers with green spine lettering. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The dust jacket is in similarly nice condition with no chips, tears, or markings and is quite presentable condition--just a bit of light wear which is visible under certain lighting conditions. This is a large, heavy book and will require extra postage for priority or international delivery. Please inquire if you would like more information.; Color & B&W Photos & Illustrations; 4to, 11" - 13" tall; 632 + index pages .
