The history of British policy towards the German colonies from 1914-1919. Germany had colonies in Africa and the Pacific and within four months of the First World War had lost all the Pacific colonies, and in Africa fighting in parts went throughout the war and in German East Africa their troops fought to the end. Germany never regained control over the former colonies. 167 pages with 2 maps. Book in very good condition ex library with stamps on front and back endpapers and title page, borrowing sleave remnants and writing on back endpaper, sticky tape marks front and back endpapers. Cover has sticky tape marks (see photos).
