New York: Fahim Kouchakji, 1933. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. 1934 Century of Progress Edition, Signed by publisher Fahim Kouchakji in blue ink on the half title page, "Autographed Copy Fahim Kouchakji A City of Progress Chicago August 15th 1934", the book was signed for the previous owner at the Worlds Fair held in Chicago, Illinois in the summer of 1934. The silver chalice from Antioch was said to have been the Lord's cup from the Last Supper. But in reality it was created five centuries later. Amazing book, folio 13.5 incjhes in height and 10.5 inches in width, Book is Fine, very clean tan cloth with blue titles to front board, No previous owner bookplate or writing, very sound binding tight and square with sharp corners. Very rare jacket is near fine, little chip at head of spine an a tiny stain on spine else Fine, amazingly clean. Book is 22 pages including bibliography, illustrated with black and white photographs, full color frontispiece of chalice, Bonus, laid in exhibit brochure from the Chicago's World Fair. Very collectable and presentable First Edition. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall.
