One of an unspecified number of copies, privately printed for the members of The Signed First Edition Society, with a tipped-in leaf signed by Bourjaily (in blue ink) at front; also with Bourjaily's 'special message for the first edition' at front. Bound in dark brown leather, gilt-stamped and decorated spine and covers, spine with raised bands, gray cockerell endpapers, a.e.g., brown silk bookmarker. Slight rubbing to covers; else a near fine copy as issued.Howard, John (illustrator); 1 b/w Illustration (frontispiece).
