Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby. This is a Facsimile First edition. with Facsimile First edition dust jacket. Published by The First Edition Library - FEL. 8" - 9" tall. It looks just like the original 1925 First edition but was created in 1990's. The original first printing of the 1925 dust jacket was a little taller than the book itself, resulting in sever chipping to the edges of nearly all surviving copies which may explain the auction price of 200,000 of a very good and bright copy. The Great Gatsby is Fitzgerald's finest work, and certainly the book for which he is best known. Gatsby has been popularized in multiple screen adaptations including in the 1970's with Redford as Gatsby and the most recent with Leonardo DiCaprio as Gatsby. In very good condition. These Facsimile Editions are becoming scarce and collectable in their own right.
