London: Robert Hale Limited, 1942. First Edition 2nd Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Folio - over 12" - 15" tall. Beautifully illustrated detective story set in a circus and starring a striped horse called Geppy. 92 pages ; illustrations (some colour). First UK edition, 2nd printing 'October 1942' (the first printing was 'March 1942'). Blue cloth boards, unclipped dust jacket (now in a removable protective sleeve). Shelf wear to jacket edges, chips to head and foot of spine, corners rubbed, gift inscription 'Christmas 1943' on front free endpaper, illustrations looking very fresh. All books dispatched same or next working day in robust packaging.
