New York: The Museum of Modern Art, 1993. Limited edition. Hardcover. Lawrence, Jacob. #98 of 100 copies specially bound and signed by Lawrence. Oblong 4to, full blue cloth stamped in gilt in matching slipcase with color cover plate of one of the 60 panels depicting the great Black migration from the agricultural south to the industrial northern cities. Text by Walter Dean Myers accompanies each painting. A fine bright copy of a scarce book with a hint of wear to the gilt titling on the slipcase.
