G. P. Putnam’s, New York., 1965. First Edition (shown), First Printing.. Hardcover.. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8 1/2 x 6 x 1 3/4.. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book NEAR FINE/ Dust Jacket Near Fine. Sewn binding. Boards and spine are blue cloth, lettering gilt, picture of sailing masts embossed on front. Dust jacket has pictorial covers by Peter Speer, lettering white/yellow. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has some age darkening on edges and folds of flaps and covers, spine is a bit sunned, minor chipping along edges, and a few chips and rips but no paper missing except small piece 1/8 x 1/4 inch. Book itself has covers and spine flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, no spine creases, minor shelf wear on edges in places. Page top edges are red, not sunned but has small round water stain. Inner end papers are maps, front Portsmouth and Spithead 1797, and back Theatre of the Nore Mutiny and Blockade 1979. Rag edge pages. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Inside looks unread. Front end paper is cracked at binding, almost invisible, but upon examination binding can be seen, but cover is not loose and no pages are missing. Black/white photos. 1797 British fleet mutiny during the French Revolution. Contents, Appendices, Bibliography, Index.

IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
