Chatto & Windus, London U.K., 1966. First Edition. Hardcover. VG/VG. 8 x 5 1/2 x 1. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing INCLUDES PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book VERY GOOD/ Dust Jacket NEAR FINE. Boards and spine are red cloth, lettering gilt. Dust jacket is white/blue, lettering black/blue, five black/white photos on front, and black/white photo on back. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has been protected by a cellophane library cover so is undamaged, has a 5/8 x 3/4 inch number sticker on bottom of dj spine. The book itself has one tiny bruised corner, 4 cello tape shadows on front cover and 4 on back, small bruise at bottom of front cover at spine, very minor edge wear and some sunning to edges of boards. Page edges sunned and all have one small library ink stamp. Inner end papers are white, inside front cover has library paper label, ffep has three small ink book store stamps. Title page has small ink library stamp. 2nd back end paper has library envelope glued on. Inside of book is tight, clear, flat. Some pages have small library ink stamp on border, a few pages have small minor stains. The photo plate at page 193 is loose and has been taped in place with clear tape which has made two brown marks on the plate and on the page. Ex-Library book with normal stamps, stickers and envelope. Quite a number of black/white photo plates. Black/white maps.

My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
