About This Item

Seattle: Black Heron Press, (1987). First edition. Short stories by the founders of the Black Heron Press -- five by Galloway and six by Gold. Full-plate illustrations by Robin Adsit. Early proof, presumably made up specifically for the illustrations as you can see the outlines of each page and those with Adsit's artwork have an "Aspen Graphics Photo" ruler imprinted with "To Check Accuracy of Percent Check with Metric Ruler" along the left side. Brad bound in green vinyl covers. Galloway written in pencil on "spine." Unusual pre-publication production in our experience. Near fine.
