Harper and Row Publishers, New York., 1967. First U. S. Edition (Stated).. Hardcover.. VG/VG. 8 3/4 H x 6 1/8 W x 1 1/4 inch.. NON SMOKING STORE. My listing includes PHOTO OF ACTUAL BOOK for sale. Book Interior GOOD PLUS/ Boards Very Good / Dust Jacket Very Good Plus. Boards and spine are blue cloth, lettering gilt. Dust jacket is white, lettering green/white, photo front. Dust jacket is NOT PRICE CLIPPED, has very minor edge wear with a few tiny chips, flap folds have some vertical creases, a few small creases in dj front upper corner, white back of dj is mildly soiled from rubbing adjacent book on shelf. Book boards and spine are flat, clean, bright, no rips, no bent corners, no spine creases, very mild edge wear that just removed a bit of colour but did not scuff, small shadow on spine from small library label. Page edges slightly sunned and on each side is one small two word library stamp. Inner end papers are two-page blue/white/red/black map of Southern Ocean Voyages of the R.R.S. Discovery and the R.S.S. Willim Scoresby 1925-1927, same map front and back. Reverse side of front ffep has part of the library sticker remaining and page next to that has a 4 1/2 inch rip from when the library envelope was removed. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, flat. Book is over-opened behind title page and at page 30 but binding is not broken, no pages loose or missing. Book is over-opened behind rear end paper and paper is torn revealing the binding, binding is torn a bit for 1 3/4 inch at bottom edge, back cover is a bit loose at the bottom but solid at the top, no pages loose or missing. Colour paintings on plates. Lots of Black/white photo plates. Black/white sketches, diagrams. Tables, charts, maps.

I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
