Vol. I. : [4pp.]/pp.424/xxxii. plus all maps and engravings ; Vol. II. : [6pp.]/pp.v./pp422-728 . Matching green cloth with gilt town crest to each front boad. Spine with bright gilt titles. Original brown endpapers. Armorial bookplate to verso of the front board of Vol. I. : "Ex Bibliotheca Car I. Taboris ( "Charles James Tabor" ). Small booksellers label to recto of the rear board (Vol. I.) : "Bound By Burn 37 & 39 Kirby St." Previous owner's signature to free-endpaper: "G. N. Carter". Well illustrated with 3 fold-out maps + 5 full-page engravings (including frontis) . 2nd title-page: "An Etymological And Comparitive Glossary of the Dialect... 1866."
