Condition notes: Clean, tight, bright and square without markings and with only light wear to boards. These newly published editions fit nicely in the hand, imparting a sense of solidity. No ancillary editorial additions to this set - it's all Williams. A lovely copy. The Greater Trumps was the fourth published of CW's metaphysical novels (1932); this "supernatural thriller" documents what happens when the original Tarot Card deck grants enormous power to its possessor; what could possibly go wrong? Williams is sometimes referred to as 'the oddest Inkling' - in reference to the literary fellowship that most famously included C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. I read this book fifty years ago. I remember thinking that the characters were a bit wooden and then being swept away by the story. I thought it was first rate fantasy. Very Christian, inevitably, in spite of the Taro cards.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
