In white cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine. Short inscription on front free endpaper, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original illustrated dust jacket (slightly rubbed on corners). Helen Steiner Rice's poems were written to commemorate events. She often sent specially composed verses and poems to others - congratulations to a niece on her marriage for instance, or expressions of joy to a co-worker on the birth of their children, or offering solace to a grieving friend.
