Leipsic: Karl Baedeker, 1894. Second Revised Edition. HB. Red cloth, gilt lettering on front cover and spine, 12mo, 375 pp. With 8 maps, 15 plans and a panorama of Athens. Large color folding map of Greece at rear. Much writing, in pencil, front and rear endpapers and title pages by previous owner, Dan Fellows Platt (1873-1937) noted archeologist and art collector. Nearly all the writing is in Greek, relating to his visit to Greece. Covers show heavy edge wear, clear tape over backstrip. Book condition Fair-Good.
