About This Item
This is a 1904 reprint of the second edition of 1901 (the 1st was 1895). The front cover has small scores in the cloth, and the top of the spine is split on the outer edges. A 1907 presentation plate is affixed to the inside cover along with another owner's name and date (1982). The front and back inside covers and fly pages are age stained, but the rest of the book on the inside is pristine. The pages are printed on high-rag-content paper, and the stitch binding is tight. Used volumes in England are priced at $30 and $35 while paperback reprints are priced at $18.
