Volume One, V111/924pp (New Edition 1880)with Prefaces, 7 Chapters on the contents of the Prolegomena, The Text of the four Gospels, in Greek with footnotes in English, plus note on CH. V2. and 15 page publisher's list (foxed). Front endpapers foxed, with bookplate to fixed front endpaper. Part of spine has been relaid over new cloth, corners bumped, otherwise VG. Volume Two, (This Volume is a 7th Edition, 1877)containing The Act of the Apostles, the Epistles to Romans & Corinthians. 723pp with Contents of the Prolegomena, (5 Chapters), The Text in Greek wit English footnotes. Plus 16pp Publisher's List. Minor rubbing to spine and corners, otherwise VG. Volume Three, (New Edition 1880)Containing Epistle to Hebrews, Epistles to St, James, St. John, St. Jude & St. Peter, plus Revalation. Contents of the Prolegomena, 750pp with text in Greek and footnotes in English. Spine has been amateurishly reinforced with brown plastic tape, front endpapers foxed with bookplate to fixed endpaper. Two corners badly bumped.(This tape could be removed and proper repair substituted). Volume Four, V111/435pp with Prolegomena, Epistles to Galatians, Ephesians, Phiilippians, Colossians, Thessalonians, Timotheus, Titus and Philemon(This Volume is a Fifth Edition, 1871) Prolegomena, (12 Chapters), The Text in Greek and footnotes in English plus 15pp Publisher's List. Spine edges worn, corners bumped, bookplate to fixed front endpaper, front endpapers foxed. This mixed Edition set is generally close VG, with faults as mentioned; generally close VG . Very Good.
