About This Item
London: Collins, 1962. First UK edition, first printing. Published by Collins in London, 1962. This is a very good (or better) copy. The paper-covered boards are slightly sunned to the front panel and slightly bumped at the corners. There is some residue to the front panel and also to the rear, where there is also the publishers price sticker present. It has been 'custom laminated', though looks presentable. The internals are clean, but with one small previous owners inscription to the front paste down. The text blocks are bright and clean. Overall, this is a very good (or better) copy of a fine children's title. Sam-I-Am offers an unnamed man a plate of green eggs and ham. However, the man refuses multiple times throughout the story by saying, "I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-Am."
