Hardback small quarto, no jacket, fair condition only, pictorial board cover, black & white & colour drawings, endpapers & edges lightly foxed, corners bumped & worn, edgewear, wear along spine edges, slight loss spine ends, cover edges rubbed, rear cover little rubbed & marked, pages lightly toned, few marks & toned spots some pages, pencil drawings rear blank page, colour drawing rear pastedown (impressions facing page). 95 pp. A book of stories, games, puzzles, cartoons, things to make, verse, and hobby pages from the 1950s. They have some exciting and unusual adventures. Muffin and his friends are Hogarth puppets which were part of a television show in Britain. They first appeared in an edition of For The Children broadcast on 20th October, 1946. They became Britain's best-known puppet company at home and abroad.
