About This Item
London: Macmillan and Co., 1910. First Editiion. Half Morocco. Good. Goble, Warwick. 4to. All 40 tipped in plates present. First plate's brown paper, onto which plate tipped in, with two small pieces of tape along edge on non-plate side. Plates otherwise, and plates proper, clean, but some moderate foxing throughout on text pages. Leather on spine sunned. Gilded lettering there is bright. Five raised bands. Green cloth front board has stain mark that looks like half the imprint of a glass. Evidence of not very well done repair to top two inches along front and rear gutters. Overall a good copy, in a nice leather binding.
