New York: Scribner's, 1928. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Very Good in a Good jacket, unclipped ($2.00), generally toned and rubbed, chipped at the head and foot of the spine. Black buckram with white ink lettering on the spine and front board, a bit of rubbing. Bound with a slight forward lean and a bit of reading wear, former owner's name on the front endpaper, clean otherwise. The third Philo Vance mystery.
