About This Item

ew York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1971. Cloth. Near Fine/Near Fine. A lovely copy of the 1971 stated 1st edition. A Review Copy to boot, with the Alfred A. Knopf Review Slip laid-in. Tight and Near Fine (with one or two microscopic spots at the bottom-edge) in a bright, price-intact, Near Fine dustjacket, with none of the customary fading along the spine. One tiny spot at the rear panel's bottom-edge, otherwise the dustjacket is pristine. Octavo, 174 pgs. A superb copy of John Gardner's "breakthrough" novel.
