About This Item
New York: Frederick A. Stokes Co, 1917. First edition. 8vo. xvi, 307 pp. Inscribed by the author in the year of publication "Dear Marjorie: / Should I say / guts Morgen or / Good-Day? / Otto would say / Good Night! / Ever yours / Hal WB / October 1 / 1917." "Marjorie" is probably Marjorie Allen Seiffert who joined with Bynner and Arthur Davison Ficke to publish "Spectra: A Book of Poetic Experiments" in 1916, intended as a satire on the Imagists. Very good. Orig. gilt-stamped burgundy cloth. (9647).
