About This Item

Paris: Groves & Michaux, 1923. Unopened in original printed wrappers. Although internally very good, the backstrip of the wrapper is missing about an inch at the top and has been crudely reinforced with sticky paper tape. 8vo. 364pp. This translation seems first to have been published at Paris by Charles Carrington in 1899; Groves & Michaux were Carrington's successors, taking over his stock and catalogue at his death in October 1921.
