London: The Cresset Press., 1959. 202pp, 14 bw ills. Or blue cloth in jacket. Endpapers & edges heavily toned-internally clean and tight, externally no problems with cloth. Jacket has several short edge tears, crease at top of rear panel, stain at top rear corner and minor insect damage at lower corner rear panel. The story of retired Greek Army officer, George Grivas, who led the EOKA campaign of murder and violence in the British colony of Cyprus. He evaded British troops for 4 years. In all 600 people were killed and twice as many injured. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Good Plus/Good. 8vo.
