Doubleday. New York. 1989. Quarter-bound in red cloth with white paper boards and gilt lettering to spine. First Edition (stated) with slight lean to spine; else fine. Signed with green sharpie on half title page with author's signature and author's Captain Kangaroo signature. Unclipped ($17.95) jacket shows minimal shelf wear but does show discoloration on top of front and back boards that does not bleed through to inside of jacket. May be reaction to sunlight. Jacket now protected with removable mylar cover. The story and photos of life in the fifties and sixities with Captain Kanaroo are all here: Mr. Green Jeans, Bunny Rabbit, Mr. Moose and of course.... Dancing Bear. OK, and a shower of Ping-Pong balls as seen on pg. 150. 9.75x6.5 in. 230 pg.
