Deals with the Met Museum's studiolo, which it has publicly displayed periodically but is generally kept in storage. The studiolo is a room created entirely by intarsia, a highly skilled form of woodwork in which small pieces are assembled to create images that look three-dimensional -- no paint is involved. Condition of this set: Fine, no flaws. Size: Quarto. 2-volume set (complete). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
